Do you know the meaning of wireless? So it is actually a medium of communication, in which instead of wires, some electromagnetic waves are used to communicate between two places of say devices. We all know about Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. But, Have you ever thought why the Wi-Fi works faster then Bluetooth. What is the main difference between them, though both are wireless network? Continue reading this article and you will find the difference.

The first reason behind the huge speed difference between the two media was their year of development. Bluetooth was developed in 1994 and Wi-Fi was developed in 1991. That's the reason Wi-Fi has made such a progress in its field.
The second reason because of the difference of the Bandwidth between them. The Bandwidth is the region of electromagnetic wave covered by the wave to travel in space. So greater is the Bandwidth greater will be the speed. Bandwidth of Bluetooth is 800 kbps whereas Wi-Fi Bandwidth is 11 mbps. Now you know the real reason.
But now to give strong competition to Wi-Fi Bluetooth v 5.0 was launched in the new devices like Samsung S8 and iPhone X. It’s faster, has longer range, and can transfer more information as compared to previous version.
